Didn't even wake up from the actions of the Saturday night in 'The Pit' until after the interval, by which time we had failed to put away numerous chances and fulfilled the role of dazed bystanders. Thankfully the game picked up despite an appalling dustbowl of a pitch which made play very difficult and whilst the defence stood motionless, Warne watched his scuffed shot dribble past the keeper like sleeping grandpa's saliva and offer a chance of equalising.  However, it was not to be and our first Showdown ended in defeat.
